Hanan Khaldi

As Accelerator Manager at Arabreneur, Hanan oversees the management and full process of the accelerator. This process starts with identifying potential startups, guiding them through the acceleration process, and assisting them in graduating and finding additional investment. In addition, Hanan manages the network of mentors and angel investors and support startups with mentorship and door-opening.

Before Arabreneur, Hanan was the Program Implementation Lead at the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA). At PITA, Hanan ran an array of programs and projects designed to support the PITA membership base and support the overall development of the Palestinian High Tech Industry. At PITA, Hanan also led all activities related to the Palestine Technology Week “Expotech”. In addition, she led the GloPal (Palestine Diaspora Network) program that encourages diaspora mentors to support the Palestinian IT sector. Prior to PITA Hanan managed various positions within Rawabi in the fields of engineering, marketing and advocacy. Before returning to Palestine in 2009, Hanan worked at the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain.

Through her career in Palestine as well as in the GCC Hanan gained extensive experience in entrepreneurship. She has a keen sense to what works and how to implement early stage customer testing. She has extensive mentorship experience and was a mentor at the first ever Palestine Startup Weekend and other entrepreneurship events. Hanan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Alexandria in Egypt.


Laith Kassis

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, USA and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
He is the co-founder of EnterVentures.ps providing consultancy, mentoring and capacity building to entrepreneurial ventures while validating a business model for a soft-turret phone technology application on Android tablets that integrated with IP based Asterisk PBX. He is also the co-founder of www.RuWWad.ME a platform to profile the business models and pitches of entrepreneurs at the center stage of the entrepreneurship process and link them with supporting eco-system. He and his business have contributed several market research studies to the Palestinian Market Development Program (www.pmdp.ps) including software outsourcing and business process outsourcing market system studies as well as developing the national ICT strategy and national software outsourcing strategies.  

Prior to that, his relevant experience was in managing the Palestine IT Association (PITA) of companies and the PICTI incubator. His leadership had a direct impact on developing the entrepreneurial and incubation sector in Palestine to promote start-up companies and culture. He also contributed to the growth of the ICT sector through promoting multinational R&D and FDI projects, outsourcing and investments. He is an early supporter for the development of seed and venture capital creation in Palestine. His customized technology entrepreneurship education material is widely used by local and regional accelerators in the MENA region and is widely used by his business EnterVentures until today in its mentoring and consulting practices. Regionally, Laith has participated in the formation of the MENA Network of Incubators as its Vice President and consulted with the World Bank infoDev program to promote high-growth entrepreneurship eco-systems in the MENA region and with GIZ on e-municipalities. Laith is a certified business incubation management trainer by the World Bank infoDev program delivering training and consultancy in Afghanistan, Palestine, Bahrain, Jordan, Turkey, Tunis, Morocco and Egypt.


Ayman Arandi

Engineer with 7 years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, established Iris Interactive Solutions in 2010 which is specialized in interactive touch technology and sensory rooms for children with disabilities and autism. He also served as business development consultant a private seed-investment program - PALinnO - for early stage start-ups in the ICT sector. 

Ayman serves as Ramallah hub curator of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, and country chair for the Global Dignity Initiative.

Ayman holds BSc in Computer Engineering from An-Najah University, and MSc in Management, Information Systems and Innovation from London School of Economics and Political Science.


Mohammad Al-Jamal

Mohammad was born in Ramallah in 1983. He holds a BSc degree in electrical engineering from BZU. He has been working in the field of ICT since 2005. Mohammad held a position of technical support representative in a leading Palestinian ISP for 3 years while still an undergraduate student.

Upon graduation he worked as a call center manager at a startup ISP, with a team of 26 engineers and marketers under his lead. He then held the positions of network admin, system engineer, corporate business manager and commercial manager.  Mohammed has a long experience in UNIX/Linux administration and ISP level network administration. He held the position of CEO at Zoorna, a Palestinian startup focused on travel recommendations. He has a strong drive for innovation that lends itself to nothing but success.


Mohannad Hijawi

Mohannad Hijawi has thirty two years of broad experience leading  world class companies in the field of telecommunication  , and Industrial/  Business Development in  Palestine  and Gulf  . Managed to turn around the companies in term of  strategic planning , Business  development, Profitability and capacity building of the Human Recourses  Staff .

Recently Mohannad is serving as  member of  Steering Committee for    "Linking with Private Sector: IT Curriculum Reform  " project  at Najah University , Advisory Board member for Industrial Engineering Department at Najah National University  , Member of Palestine Network of Mentors , Adviser & Trainer  for GazaEntrepreneurs / Mercy Corp Project, and Mentor  for  Mercy Corp Start Up Week  End  held on 2011 & 2013 in Nablus .
Mohannad  was serving as a board member for the Golden Millers Co. representing Paltel Employees Saving Fund, board member for Hulul Co., board member for Reach Co., also he a member of Palestinian Business Association (PBA) & member of Palestinian IT Association of Companies (PITA).

Before joining Spark, Mohannad  had vast experience through working for various national and international companies among those:-

  • General Manager –  Palatine Telecommunication  Co  -Paltel , Nablus Palestine ,

March 2005 – May 2010

  • General Manager-AlMajdouie Aluminum & Glass Factory and AlMajdouie Transport Co., Dammam Saudi Arabia from March 2003 to March 2005.
  •  General Manager- Gulf Industrial Development Co., Nablus, Palestine from year 1998 to 2003.
  • Plant Superintendent – FABCO, in Saudi Arabia and Plant and Production Manager – Olayan Kimberly Clark, a Saudi American joint venture company, from December 1986 to June 1998.
  • Teaching and research assistance – at Yarmouk University ,Jordan from Oct. 1983 to June 1985 .

Mr. Mohannad Heajawi did his Science Graduate studies at Yarmouk University, Jordan and completed his post graduate degreein M.Sc Mechanical Engineering
